Renting compute, storage, and RAM adds up quickly, and the free tiers are small: Google Cloud gives 15GB, Apple iCloud 5GB, and Samsung Cloud 15GB. A private cloud cuts the cost of running applications and services, and removes the quota as a limit on what I can create.
It also makes storage seamless. Data is reachable across a whole spectrum of devices, so creativity is not tied to one machine.
